I was surprised to see Century 21 ranked that high. These are great stats to follow the online presence of the big brokers.

Interesting numbers to say the least. (I too would be interested to see how things stack up against other non-franchise sites.) As far as remax getting traffic, have to remember that they are spending a ton of money on traditional media (TV, magazine ads, etc) to drive traffic to the site, so that likely is playing a big role in the traffic numbers that they are posting.

Unless I've missed something, I'd be curious to see "other" franchises used in your analysis.

Have you looked into BetterHomesUSA.com?
BetterHomesPA.com
BetterHomesNJ.com
BetterHomesNY.com and the list goes on

Great post. It is always great to analyze the data. Be diligent though, and find a way to use it to your advantage. Have your own site? Point out the differences between your franchise and others that are strong in your area. Provide great content that is useful to the home buyer and seller who is visiting your site.

Good Luck.

Interesting data. For one thing, many agents are jumping from firm to firm, so they concentrate their efforts on their own sites, and it does not seem that their brokerages feel that they should give them much support. Realtor.com is not always a first stop for Realtors because of the costs involved to them. I wonder how Zillow and Trulia stack up in this mix. Consumers and many real estate professionals like those sites. Zillow has been actively advertising for more diverse industry professionals to participate in their site.

It is interesting how much more traffic remax is getting than kw in the # 5 position. It would also be interesting to see realtor.com put up as a comparison. I think that consumers like realtor.com because they can look at homes in multiple destinations/states, etc.
